U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr. (NJ-08), Chairman of the Congressional Traumatic Brain Injury Task Force and sponsor of the ConTACT ACT (H.R. 1347), made the following statement: “The NFL’s public service announcement being unveiled tonight certainly advances the ball on educating Americans to the dangers of concussions. Its message is aligned with the purpose of my ConTACT Act, federal legislation to protect athletes of all ages and levels from the risk of sports-related concussions. I look forward to the day when, united, we can push the ball over the goal line to prevent avoidable traumatic brain injuries!” One of the NFL’s PSA can be viewed at: ### |
