Rep. Pascrell Calls on N.J. Attorney General to Respond to Entry Ban

PATERSON, N.J. – U.S. Representative Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-NJ) called on New Jersey's Attorney General to join other attorneys general in responding to the executive order regarding travel bans for Muslim-majority nations signed last week.

"It is shameful that New Jersey's Attorney General has chosen to remain silent as President Trump ignores our history as a nation of immigrants and targets people based on their faith and national origin," said Rep. Pascrell. "This type of despicable cowardice comes out of the same book that Governor Christie must have read when he was scared of orphans under the age of five. I am encouraged others, including Republicans, are speaking up in support of the core values that are the bedrock of who we are as a nation and a people."
