Congressman Bill Pascrell, Jr. (NJ-09), co-chair of the Congressional Law Enforcement Caucus, issued the following statement today regarding the coordinated public attacks on the credibility and professionalism of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

"As a co-chair of the Congressional Law Enforcement Caucus, I believe the brave men and women who serve our nation as members of the Federal Bureau of Investigation deserve gratitude and support. As members of the law enforcement community, they put their lives on the line each and every day to provide honest and independent domestic intelligence and security service to our nation," Rep. Pascrell said. "Today, I remain proud of the work being done by the Bureau to ensure the laws of the United States are being properly followed. It is important that their work is able to continue unobstructed in order to ensure the American public knows the truth about those who would undermine the process of justice in our nation."
