Pascrell Holds 15th and Final Giant Check Event Marking $17 Million Delivered to North Jersey District
Washington, DC,
June 3, 2024
Congressman Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-NJ-09) has held the final events celebrating delivering a total of $17,624,644 to New Jersey’s Ninth District through the 2024 federal government spending bill. “I am so proud our office was able to deliver over $17 million directly into our beautiful communities,” said Congressman Pascrell. “Federal funds are essential to overhauling and protecting our communities for Garden Staters today – and for future generations. Watching our neighbors turn out in support of these projects was invigorating. Government works best when it improves the daily lives of our neighbors.” Over the span of just over two months, the Congressman joined neighbors and leaders in Clifton, Edgewater, Fairview, Garfield, Kearny, Lyndhurst, Oakland, Paterson, Passaic City, Pompton Lakes, Saddle Brook, and elsewhere celebrating huge federal support for community projects to replace lead pipes, fix main streets, restore roads, replace bridges, support hospitals, and restore town libraries.
